A country steeped in cultural and historical importance and with
some of the oldest peoples known to have been on the planet,
with archaeological evidence showing humans to have been in
China dating back up to 2.24 million years ago, its most famous
proof of its great past is the Terracotta Warriors of the Qin
Dynasty. The statues, between 6-6.6 feet in height, are dated at
210 BC and were buried with the first emperor of the Qin
dynasty. Consisting of there were over 8,000 soldiers, 130
chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses, the majority of
which are still buried in the pits, the terracotta army serves
as proof that the Chinese have been an advanced people for many
years and is testament to their place in history.
With so many historical, cultural and archaeological
attractions, China stands as one of the world’s leading tourist
