Jungo Joins Texas Instruments' Third Party DSP Network to Provide Software/Hardware Connectivity Solutions

by:
Jungo's driver development tools and embedded Universal Serial Bus (USB)
solutions help DSP developers bring products to market faster

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Jungo(R) Software Technologies,
Inc., a leading provider of driver development tools and embedded USB
solutions, today announced that they have joined Texas Instruments' (TI)
digital signal processing (DSP) third party network as a software and embedded
services provider.
Jungo's tools support the unique requirements of TI's TMS320(TM) family of
DSPs. WinDriver(TM) and KernelDriver(TM) driver development tools dramatically
simplify the difficult task of creating PCI/CardBus/ISA/ISAPnP/EISA/CompactPCI
and USB device drivers for Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP/CE/CE.NET/Server 2003,
Linux, Solaris and VxWorks. Jungo's embedded USB software includes stacks to
implement USB On-The-GO (OTG), USB Host, USB Device, USB Mass Storage and USB
Remote NDIS protocols. These stacks enable manufacturers of PDAs, mobile
phones, cameras, MP3 players, set-top boxes and other consumer devices, to
quickly and easily implement USB functionality in their devices.
"Jungo, a leading supplier of software/hardware connectivity solutions, is
a valued addition to our Third Party DSP Network, assisting our customers with
the tedious task of driver development for DSP designs. Jungo also allows
embedded USB device manufacturers to effortlessly add desired USB
functionality to their devices," said Marc Wallace, DSP third party network
program manager, TI.
"TI's DSP products are the highest-performing solutions for digital
processing applications," said Ophir Herbst, general manager of Jungo's
Software Tools Division. "Jungo is delighted to join the third party program
to provide value-added solutions for customers. By supporting TI's DSP
technology, we enable customers to speed up their product development cycles
while ensuring maximum usability and reliability."
